Sheldon D. Erlich is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, with a focus in plaintiff's personal injury case since 1971. He is a past president of the Michigan Association for Justice, formerly the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, Michigan's largest plaintiff trial lawyers organization, as well as the Metropolitan Detroit Trial Lawyers Association. He has also sat as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and is presently a member of the Executive Board of the Michigan Association for Justice, formerly the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. Sheldon also sits as a case evaluator in Wayne and Oakland Counties. Sheldon has most recently been named as a Michigan Super Lawyer for 2007 and has been nominated again for 2008. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1968 and from University of Detroit School of Law in 1971. He has given lectures as a guest speaker at MAJ seminars involving medical malpractice and automobile negligence law. Sheldon concentrates his practice primarily on medical malpractice and automobile negligence cases and has obtained verdicts and settlements in the millions of dollars for his clients. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating he has reached the highest level of excellence, ethics and integrity. Sheldon has argued cases in the Michigan Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
