J. Martin Bartnick has been a trial lawyer since 1975 and focuses in the areas of medical malpractice, automobile negligence, construction site accidents and products liability. Marty has successfully taken on the largest corporations in the world in cases involving defectively designed automobiles, industrial presses, boats, and all types of heavy machinery. He is also a past president of the Metropolitan Detroit Trial Lawyers Association and a long-standing member of the Michigan Association for Justice, formerly the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He obtained one of the largest Michigan Medical Malpractice verdicts against a county owned hospital for his client. He also obtained one of the largest verdicts against the State of Michigan for automobile negligence. Marty also sits as a plaintiff's mediator in Wayne County. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating he has reached the highest level of excellence, ethics and integrity. He has been an avid boater and motorcyclist for more than 30 years.
